Automotive World 2023: Electrification Technologies (3) EV, Charging Devices, and Batteries

14th EV, HV & FCV Technology Expo, 15th Int’l Automotive Electronics Technology Expo, others

Summary

Automotive World 2023 (Period: January 25 - 27, 2023) was held at the Tokyo Big Sight convention and exhibition center. According to RX Japan, the organizer of the event, the total number of visitors for the entire exhibition, including NEPCON Japan, Green Factory Expo, Smart Logistics Expo and others held concurrently with Automotive World, was 74,193 over the three days of the Expo, more than doubling the number from last year of 32,795. Although the number of Tier1 suppliers exhibiting was limited, there were fewer empty areas in the venue, giving the impression that the event was closer to its pre-COVID pandemic bustle.

This report introduces the exhibits of electric vehicles, V2H, fast chargers, charging-related services, battery systems, and battery related components as the third report on Electrification Technologies presented at the 14th EV, HV & FCV Technology Expo, the 15th Int'l Automotive Electronics Technology Expo, NEPCON JAPAN 2023, the 2nd Smart Logistics Expo, and other concurrent events.
