Summary
Tesla's Cybertruck, launched in December 2023, enthusiastically incorporates cutting-edge technologies ahead of its competitors. Munro & Associates, Inc. (Munro), which was one of the first companies to acquire the vehicle, conducted a teardown survey of the Cybertruck. This report introduces some of the findings and provides an overview of the advanced Cybertruck technologies, including its stainless steel body, steer-by-wire (SBW) and EtherLoop.

Tesla Cybertruck overview
The Cybertruck is a full-size electric pickup truck with a unique appearance due to its unpainted stainless steel body, incorporating many advanced technologies such as steer-by-wire.
Notable technologies installed in the Cybertruck include the steer-by-wire steering system, which completely eliminates mechanical connections, and Etherloop, which connects zone ECUs via Ethernet and is adopted by Tesla as a precursor to its new E/E architecture. This report will provide an overview of these technologies.
