The 30th China Society of Automotive Engineers Conference and Exhibition (SAECCE 2023) was held in Beijing, October 25 - 27, 2023. More than 60 forums were held during the conference, including one plenary session, two main forums, three Chinese Academy of Engineering member forums, 19 technical sessions, and 42 thematic sessions. On October 27, the session titled, "Build a High-quality Charging Infrastructure System" was held.

Mr. Kai LIU, Deputy Division Chief of the Technology Department of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) and Director of the China Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Promotion Alliance (EVCIPA), gave a keynote speech titled "The Impact of Charging Technology Advancements on the Industry in the ‘Double Carbon’ Strategy”, introducing a development overview, issues of the national charging equipment industry, and the impact of technological advances on the industry. He also focused on analyzing high-power charging and coordinated charging technologies, and concluded that reducing CO2 emissions and energy consumption in the production and operation of charging equipment is a direction that the industry should focus on. This report is a brief summary of this presentation.
