This report presents the proposals related to environmentally-friendly vehicles based on the displays and announcements of the four domestic commercial vehicle manufacturers at the Tokyo Motor Show 2019 (period: October 24 to November 4, 2019: commercial vehicle venue: Tokyo Big Site, Aomi Exhibition Halls).
In addition, the report also covers all the hybrid, EV, and CNG models of each CV manufacturer currently on the market and summarizes the trends of each powertrain along with the show models exhibited. In Japan, hybrid vehicles account for a large number of the vehicles in the market, and although there is no rapid development of the EV and CNG/LNG vehicle market such as that seen in China and Europe, proposals for their future deployment were seen at the exhibition.
