The Battery Show North America 2023 and the Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo were held together as a joint exhibition at the Suburban Collection Showplace convention center in Novi, Michigan, U.S. from September 12 through September 14, 2023. Almost 19,000 attendees visited the 2023 event, setting a new record with a 25% increase in attendees over the previous year.

The joint exhibition between The Battery Show North America 2023 and Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo featured more than 800 exhibitor displays showcasing a wide range of technologies and systems. Mitsubishi Chemical Group revealed a new battery enclosure concept comprised entirely of composites. Eaton showcased its Breaktor circuit protection technology for battery disconnect units. Forvia highlighted Hella's partnership with AMP in presenting the AMP Energy Management System (ampEMU) for electric vehicles. Plastic Omnium displayed several battery packs for use across various e-mobility applications.

In terms of electric vehicle systems and technologies, Marelli displayed various products designed to improve electric vehicle performance and efficiency, including multipurpose smart actuators, a Vehicle Domain Control Module, and an integrated Thermal Management Module. Schaeffler's exhibit included a solid-state battery, fuel cell stack, and two electric axle systems.
