Summary

The Automotive World 2022 event (Date: January 19 (Wed.) - 21 (Fri.), 2022, Venue: Tokyo Big Sight) was hosted by RX Japan Ltd. This exhibition is held every year in January at the Tokyo Big Site convention and exhibition center in Ariake, Tokyo, and this was the 14th Automotive World event. It is a place for parts suppliers, material suppliers, jig and tool suppliers, and information companies to showcase their latest technologies. Last year, the number of exhibitors was only about 200 due to the COVID crisis, but this year, about 430 companies participated, making it a very active event. Among them, this report focuses on EV components, weight reduction technology, decoration technology, and decarbonization technology that are effective in the automotive industry.
