According to statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), sales of new energy vehicles in June 2021 increased 148.4% year-over-year (y/y) and 17.7% month-over-month (m/m) to 254,000 units.

Sales in the January-June period totaled 1,197,000 units, up 202.7% y/y and is on an upward trend.

By vehicle type, the ratio of new energy passenger cars continues to grow, reaching 95.2% of the total, ahead of buses and trucks.
