According to the statistics of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs) in the calendar year 2020 (January through December) rose 10.3% over the previous year to 1.359 million units. Monthly sales in December 2020 increased 51.5% compared to the same month in the previous year to nearly 248,000 units, marking the sixth consecutive month of year-over-year (y/y) growth.
