MWC™ Barcelona brings together participants from across the mobile ecosystem and related industries, including mobile network operators, technology vendors, automotive suppliers, startups, investors, and policymakers. The event serves as a platform to present and discuss developments in mobile communications, digital technologies, and industry-related policies.

MWC26 marked the launch of the GSMA’s “IQ Era,” highlighting the growing role of intelligent connectivity in technology and business transformation.

The program was organized around six core themes: Intelligent Infrastructure, ConnectAI, AI for Enterprise, AI Nexus, Tech4All, and Game Changers. New feature areas included New Frontiers for emerging technologies, Airport of the Future, which showcased connected aviation solutions in cooperation with Airbus and Outsight, and CircuitX, focusing on smart mobility.
