From November 29 to December 10, 2025, Thailand hosted the 42nd Thailand International Motor Expo under the theme “The Magnificent Motor Expo” (Press/VIP Day: November 28).

Highlight models on display were the GAC Govy Aircab, Chery QQ3 EV, Honda Step WGN e:HEV Spada, Hyundai XRT Concept, Omoda 4, Wuling Starlight, Zeekr Mix, Toyota Hilux Travo, Avatr 07, BYD Ti7, Denza B5, Geely EX2, Lexus LX 500d, BMW iX LCI, DFSK E5 Plus, GWM Wey G9 Hi4, Maxus eDeliver 5, MG IM5, NEX Cargo Vantastic, Nissan X-TRAIL e-Power e-4ORCE, and Volvo XC60, among others.
The event concluded with 75,246 car bookings, a 38% increase YoY, and 5,263 motorcycle bookings, down 34.1% YoY. According to organizer Inter-Media Consultant Co., Ltd. (IMC), the top five car brands by bookings were Toyota (10,872 units), Honda (6,278), BYD (6,212), Omoda and Jaecoo (5,217), and GAC (5,019). Among motorcycles, Lambretta led with 785 units, followed by Yamaha (680), Deco (654), EM (618), and Zontes (615). The average transaction price at the event was THB 1,122,347 per car and THB 177,637 per motorcycle. Enhanced transport services and VIP experiences drew 1,521,296 attendees, helping revive Thailand’s automotive market and generating over THB 70 billion in economic activity. Notably, BEVs accounted for 50% of sales, according to data from the “Buy a Car… Win a Car” campaign.
