Summary
Automotive World (hosted by RX Japan Ltd.) is an advanced technology exhibition with 1,650 exhibitors, including automotive parts manufacturers, and was held at Tokyo Big Sight from January 22 to 24, 2024. This report focuses on topics related to automotive HMI from the exhibition.
Although there were few exhibits of new HMI technologies that we have not seen before, the presentations were in line with the current trends in automotive HMI. These points can be divided into the following five major categories.
- Occupant monitoring technology
- Input device technology
- Multi-display technology
- New interior lighting and sound field presentation technology
- Camera monitor related technology for interior mirrors
