Summary
The 2nd Automotive World Autumn event was held at Makuhari Messe convention center from September 13 to 15, 2023. This year's exhibition was characterized by the prominence of exhibitors from Asia and the presence of AD (Autonomous Driving) and ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) technologies from different fields such as production technology. Although there were not many exhibitors related to ADAS, there were introductions of unique technologies and new initiatives, and the content of the exhibition was worthy of its name: an exhibition of cutting-edge automotive technologies.
As for sensing technology, CenturyArks Co., Ltd. exhibited an event-based vision sensor that it claims mimics the way the human eye perceives light. The National Institute of Informatics (NII) research institute introduced a new method to mathematically prove the safety of self-driving cars. There were also exhibits in the area of software development and experimental support that caught the attention of participants.
