Summary
Automotive World 2023 (Period: January 25 - 27, 2023) was held at the Tokyo Big Sight convention and exhibition center. According to RX Japan, the organizer of the event, the total number of visitors for the entire exhibition, including concurrent exhibitions such as NEPCON Japan, Green Factory Expo, and Smart Logistics Expo, was 74,193, more than doubling the number from last year, 32,795. Although the number of Tier 1 suppliers exhibiting was limited, there were fewer empty areas in the venue, giving the impression that the event was closer to the bustle that existed before the COVID pandemic.
This report introduces the exhibits of inverters, power modules, power electronics-related components, measuring instruments, and evaluation equipment, as the second report on Electrification Technologies presented at the 14th EV, HV & FCV Technology Expo, the 15th Int'l Automotive Electronics Technology Expo, NEPCON JAPAN 2023, and other concurrent events.
