Summary
TECHNO-FRONTIER 2022 (July 20-22, 2022; Venue: Tokyo Big Sight convention and exhibition center; Organizer: Japan Management Association) was held as a real exhibition as last year, returning from the Aomi Exhibition Hall to the East Exhibition Hall.
According to an announcement by the organizer, Japan Management Association (JMA), the number of registered visitors (total for the three days) was 10,389 for TECHNO-FRONTIER 2022 and INDUSTRY-FRONTIER 2022, and 28,421 for the entire exhibition including concurrent exhibitions. Although it is difficult to make a comparison because the composition of the exhibition changed, the number of visitors increased from last year's 10,770 and approached the number of 30,447 in 2019 before the COVID-19 pandemic.
TECHNO-FRONTIER started in 1983 with the Small Motor Technology Expo (the 40th Motor Technology Expo this year), and while the number of motor products exhibited, which used to be large, has decreased, the number of electric vehicle-related parts, measurement instruments, and other exhibits has been on the increase, and the venue was bustling with people.
This report introduces electrified vehicle-related items such as FCV teardown exhibits, motors, inverters, and measurement instruments.
