Summary
The 18th International Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Expo, run in conjunction with World Smart Energy Week Spring 2022 (March 16-18, 2022), was held at Tokyo Big Sight. Although there were a few booths with only panels and no explanation staff, the number of booths with format similar to those before COVID-19 increased. The venue returned to the East Hall, which was also busy. According to the organizer, RX Japan, the total number of visitors to the concurrent exhibition was 41,751 (3-day total), which is lower than the 66,576 visitors in 2019 (before COVID-19), but up from the 28,345 visitors last year.
This report introduces the exhibits including FCVs (fuel cell vehicles), FC (fuel cell) stacks and tanks, and FC-related components displayed at the 18th International Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Expo (FC EXPO Spring) as the Electrification Technologies (1) of World Smart Energy Week 2022 Spring.
