Summary
On July 15-26, 2020, Thailand's 41st Bangkok International Motor Show (41st BIMS), under the theme of "Inspiration Unlocks the Future", got under way in Bangkok, with exhibits attended by 27 international automotive brands and 12 renowned motorcycle companies, filling up the area of over 170,000 square meters.
Feature models showcasing at the event include Toyota Corolla Cross, Honda CR-V facelift, Suzuki XL7, Nissan Kicks e-POWER, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Elite Edition, MG ZS, BMW X3 xDrive 30e M Sport PHEV, Audi TT RS Coupe Quattro, etc.
The show has been prepared in accordance with new social norms by setting preventive measures in conformity with government regulations. All visitors are required to have a body temperature check prior to entering the Motor Show, wear a face mask at all times and clean their hands with alcohol spray before entering into the cars on exhibit.
To correspond with the new norms, it is also the first time that the Motor Show in Thailand has been carried out via virtually online in parallel with the real show. (local source reference)
