Summary
This report introduces primarily products such as inverters, power modules, and measurement-related equipment exhibited at the 11th EV Japan Expo and the 12th CAR-ELE Japan Expo held in the Aomi Exhibition Hall, as well as exhibited at the 6th CAR-MECHA Japan Expo and the 10th Automotive Lightweight Technology Expo held at the West Exhibition Hall at Automotive World 2020 (dates: January 15th to January 17th 2020; venue: Tokyo Big Sight).
Keihin exhibited various types of inverters equipped in Honda vehicles as well as a new inverter. STMicroelectronics unveiled its latest device, the SiC power module that is featured on the Tesla Model 3 inverter.
Additionally, new heat dissipation members, which will likely be utilized to improve cooling performance for motors and inverters, required for increasingly higher outputs, drew considerable attention.
