 The following report describes the availability of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and automated driving features in Daimler, BMW and Audi’s model released (or to be released) in Europe. Equipment will be compared for 5 vehicles from each maker covering a range of types and sizes, including flagship models, sedans, coupes, and SUVs.

    Daimler (Mercedes-Benz brand models)
  • The face-lifted S-Class and E-Class are capable of level 2 automated driving
  • The 5 models covered in this report have basically the same Lane Tracking Package (the blind spot assist, lane keeping assist and others)
  • Each vehicle has a Driving Assistance Package, but specifics vary by model
    BMW (BMW brand models)
  • The 7 Series and new 5 Series are capable of level 2 automated driving
